As I sat down to watch Juno last night I was assaulted. How you ask? By an audible barrage of decibel flexing from THX and Dolby. As if there is any doubt in my mind (or ears) as to how awesome their sound technology is, it required 4 separate demonstrations. A little over the top guys—especially for a movie like Juno. Wow! Aviary comes out of nowhere with an impressive suite of tools for image, vector, audio, video, font editing. All tools are Flash web apps. Absolutely amazing. Adobe had better watch their back.

Mer-Maya and the Sharks
Maya: Momma, I had a bad dream last night.
Mom: Really? What was it about?
Maya: I was a mermaid, and then the sharks came.

Took the kids bowling. Surprisingly Elin didn’t lose interest until the 8th frame.
Went snowboarding last night. First time in 7 years. Conditions at Brighton were excellent.
